Connaught Community Association

 The Connaught Community Association, also known as the CCA, is the governmental organization for the Community of Connaught and the Surrounding areas.

 The objectives and responsibilities of the CCA are:

1.      To promote and safeguard the interest of its members, whether intellectual, cultural, social, athletic or otherwise in accordance with its constitution and bylaws.

2.      To initiate, sponsor, direct and provide facilities for the service and activities in which the interest of the community is involved.

3.      To protect the rights of the individual regardless of race, color, sex, religion, nationality, ancestry or place of origin.

4.      To represent members of the CCA in matters affecting their common interest.

5.      To encourage and promote co-operation and communication between its members.

6.      To legislate By-Laws according to the spirit and directions set down in the CCA’s Constitution.

7.      To administer all funds allocated to the CCA in accordance with its Constitution and By-Laws.

 The CCA Board consists of three (3) to twelve (12) members.  Elected positions are: 

·         President

·         Vice-President

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer

·         Bar Manager

 The remainder of the Board will be Directors and are appointed by the existing Board.

 Regular board meetings are normally held the last Wednesday of the month and regular membership meetings are held on a quarterly basis.
